SatLayer is a venture backed web3 infrastructure company. Our mission is be the #1 provider of modular security for the fast growing BTC ecosystem, including BTC L2s, DAs, and Rollups.

As part of this effort, we’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer with prior experience writing and deploying react and typescript based webapps and backends.

You must be intimately familiar with key tools and frameworks in modern web development (bye php), and be comfortable moving up and down the stack from interfaces to backend logic and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain key parts of SatLayer’s user facing applications.
  • Create clear documentation for each application deployed.
  • Keep backend systems organized and minimal, we don’t want a million different services and hosts.
  • Support Frontend Engineering with 20/80 API documentation and tooling.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers when necessary for integration and debugging.

Qualifications

  • Able to clearly communicate with members of product and growth teams
  • Our stack is react, typescript, tailwind, nextjs, nodejs, etc
  • Familiar with auth, hosting, db solutions (auth0, nextauth, vercel, netlify, supabase, aws, etc)
  • Familiar with web3 libs like wagmi / viem / rainbowkit
  • Familiar with Ubuntu and other linux distros
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English

Nice-to-haves:

  • Natural design sense for content layout, font sizing, etc. To fill the gap when there’s no designer available.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken Chinese
